Good morning everyone☀️ Recently, I have been trying to be more active for my health because recently it has been very cold... For example, I try to use the stairs as much as possible instead of elevators or escalators. It may seem like a small habit, but I believe that small efforts can add up over time. I feel happy when I see my number of steps of walking increase little by little. On days when I go out, I usually walk more than 10000 steps!! and it makes me very proud of myself. It motivates me to continue this healthy lifestyle in the future. At the same time, I have a lot of final assignments to complete recently. They are sometimes stressful, but I try to think positively. If I do my best and finish tnem, Christmas will come next week🎄 Thinking about Christmas helps me stay motivated and work harder on my assignments. However, according to the weather forecast, it may rain on Christmas Day😔☔️ Because of this, my friends and I want to talk and decide what we should do. Personally, I do not like cold weather very much, so I would prefer to stay at home. I think spending time indoors with my friends, eating delicious food such as cake or chicken and so on and talking together, would be very relaxing and enjoyable. What are you going to do on Christmas Day? Please let me know!! Thank you for reading.

Today was absolutely incredible! I spent the whole day at Disneyland with my university friends, and being there during the Christmas season made it feel truly magical. The moment we stepped into the park, the air was crisp, and we were immediately surrounded by festive cheer. Huge, beautiful Christmas trees towered over us, and every railing and storefront was draped with thick, green wreaths and sparkling lights. Even the background music was entirely composed of classic holiday tunes, which instantly put us in a celebratory mood. One of the highlights was experiencing the special Christmas version of the Haunted Mansion. It was transformed into a hybrid of Halloween and Christmas, based on The Nightmare Before Christmas. The decoration inside was spectacular and spooky yet festive, but the best part was seeing Jack Skellington dressed up as Sandy Claws. His appearance was surprisingly adorable, and the whole ride felt fresh and fun, despite having been on it many times before. Later in the afternoon, we moved away from the crowds for a quick early dinner because we had a secret plan. One of my friends has her birthday next week, and since we wouldn't see her exactly on that day, we decided to celebrate early. I had quietly coordinated with the restaurant staff to bring out a special cake. When the waiter appeared with a small, decorated dessert and a lit candle, she was completely shocked and her face lit up. We all sang Happy Birthday, and it was a genuinely heartwarming moment. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful, festive day spent with great friends.

Differences in Some Thai Words Used by Men and Women Part 2 : Second-Person Pronouns Second-person pronouns in Thai reflect social relationships, politeness, and familiarity, and choosing the right form depends heavily on context. 1. Khun (/kʰun/, คุณ) This is the most common and safest second-person pronoun. It is polite, neutral, and can be used to address both men and women. “Khun” is suitable for both formal and informal situations, especially when speaking to strangers or people you are not close to. 2. Thoe (/tʰəː/, เธอ) This pronoun is informal and is mainly used to address women. It is commonly used by women when speaking to other women, or to men in close and casual contexts. Men usually use “thoe” when speaking to women, especially in friendly or romantic situations. Men generally do not use “thoe” to address other men, as it sounds unnatural in everyday Thai. However, some men may use “thoe” when addressing gay men or third-gender individuals who present themselves in a feminine way, depending on mutual understanding and social context. This pronoun should not be used in formal situations or when speaking to elders. 3. Kae (/kɛː/, แก) This pronoun is very informal and is used only among close friends. If used with the wrong person or in the wrong situation, it can sound rude or disrespectful. 4. Mueng (/mɯŋ/, มึง) This pronoun is extremely informal and often sounds rude or aggressive. It is used only among very close friends who are comfortable with this style of speech. It should never be used in polite conversation or with elders. 5. Using names instead of pronouns In Thai, it is very common to avoid second-person pronouns and use the listener’s name or nickname instead. Because of this, choosing how to address someone in Thai depends more on social relationships and context than on fixed grammar rules.

Last weekend, I had a Christmas party with my family and relatives. Adults gave presents to children, but adults also gave presents to each other, and children gave presents to adults, so there were a lot of presents. There were so many that it looked like a mountain, and the room was filled with excitement and smiles. We ate a cake with strawberries and Shine Muscat grapes. They are my favorite fruits, so I felt very happy. The cake was sweet and fresh, and it made the Christmas party feel more special. For dinner, we had sushi, salmon salad, chicken quesadillas, and other foods. Everything looked colorful and delicious. I also cooked one dish for everyone. I was a little nervous, but everyone said it was delicious, so I was very happy and relieved. After dinner, we played bingo together. Everyone was excited and laughed a lot. I got many things I wanted, so I felt really great and thankful. It was a wonderful and unforgettable night. On another day, I met my elementary school friend in Ueno. We went to a hamburger restaurant and then went to a Christmas market. It was the first time we met in nine years. Even though it had been a long time, we talked a lot and could not stop talking. I remembered our elementary school days and felt a little nostalgic. It was a very fun and precious time.
